Tragic Death

This was the newspaper article that appeared in the San Diego Union-Tribune on July 11, 1992:

Although Michelle Chu applied for benefits for herself and her two children, the City of San Diego denied her claim and forced her to have to file a lawsuit which the city fought vigorously against. It took over four years, but Michelle persisted and it took a decision by the Fourth District Court of Appeals to give herself and her children worker's compensation benefits.
